I found the BRW1::EIPManager.AskRecord method, before the PARENT call, works for me. I prime the file fields there. Jay Guengerich reports difficulties with this but: I got it to work by priming the file fields in BRW1.PrimeRecord. Richard Taylor again: The method I'm using is the AskRecord method of the Browse object - BRW#.AskRecord - before the PARENT call. I'm using an alpha release of C5a that's equivalent to CR1.
