Par2: TPS file corrupts on a network - correct location of TCF files
1998-05-26 -- Nigel Hicks

In C4, 'TOPSPEED.TCF' (the transaction control file) is located by default at 'C:\'. While this is OK for a single station logout, it is generally incorrect for a multi-station logout of the same file or files on a network (the TCF file must be shared by all stations logging out a file). In this case the TCF file must be located in a common (i.e shared) place by using the SEND('TCF=tcffilename') command. Failure to do this will result in failed transactions potentially not being rolled back (as the wrong TCF file is used).
