Not only does this work (in addition to moving part of the code), it
is the closest to the way we have done this sort of thing in the past.
Therefore, the modified code in ThisWindow.INIT would look like:
If LOC:pCode
CTJ:pCode = LOC:pCode
CTJ:Volume = LOC:Volume
CTJ:Issue = LOC:Issue
CTJ:Date = LOC:Date
!Select(?CTJ:Author,1)
SELF.FirstField = ?CTJ:Author <===========
End
