If you're talking about ABC, the it's as simple as adding:
SELF:Feq{PROP:REQ} = TRUE !Set REQ attribute for the control
to the end of the EIP Init method for the field (the Learning Clarion
tutorial shows you how to derive and override EIP classes in Lesson 11).
