In your dictionary you need all the fields declared that you expect to have in the browse. However, you need to make one additional change to the dictionary. On those fields that are computed by the backend, you need to add the |READONLY switch. You do this by going to the field in question and changing the "external name" value. If there is no external value you will need to make it match the column's name. For example, lets say the column is CalcTotal. The external name should be CalcTotal|READONLY. This should resolve your problem.
