This is a DLL, with source, that we use to call from our templates using #RUNDLL. It is not documented apart from the included ITRun32.cpp source code. You can use this file for your own templates. Redistribution is prohibited without a permission from Icetips Creative, Inc.

ITRun shows how to run programs and elevate them properly under Vista or Windows Server 2008. It is based on some methods in our Core and Shell Classes in the Icetips Utilities.

List all Special Folders (CSIDL) on your computer. This program can be installed on any computer to see and print a list of all the CSIDL folders on the computer. This can save a lot of time to figure out where what folders are.

Bo Schmitz has put together a little global template to add Manifests to older versions of clarion using code "borrowed" from the C6 template chain. (Xp and Vista, and compiling inside exe) Tested and works on C55. Didn't test on C5 and C4.

The date in the template is April 28, 2007, but we received this on August 15, 2007 from Roberto.

Included is a Clarion 6.3 app, and two sourcefiles, .clw and .inc for the test class. This demonstrates a simple method to dynamically load a dll at runtime instead of using a LIB file.

This install updates the WIN.INI file and the PATH environment variable to the correct values for Clarion 6 install.s

This small demo, using the invoice.dct from the Clarion 6.3 examples, demonstrates basic use of the Page of Pages class in the Icetips Utilities. The zip includes app, dct, tps and other necessary files. It also includes a locally compiled exe.

This zip contains the people.app, people.dct and people.tps files. Unzip into an empty folder and load the people.app. Compile and run. Use "Browse | Update People" to access the browseless form.

We use Borland C++ compiler/IDE to compile the code but it should compile in other C++ as well. This code is specifically written to use with the #RUNDLL template statement.

This app shows some typical SQL handling in getting aggregate data (group by, count, sum, etc.) It also shows how the equivalent of such SQL things can be handled with non-SQL systems, such as TPS files, by using a little code for queue processing. See the two "BrowseByCity" procedures, which in this case display exactly the same information to the user.

Everything is Clarion straight out of the box, no add-ons, no 3rd-party tools.

About this data file: This is an old database of Texas schools that I have had for some time that was downloaded from the web. I have removed phone numbers and email addresses.

This is for both Clarion 5.5 and Clarion 6.x.

This zip has an APP and a DCT that illustrates how Clarion can be used to connect to a MSSQL server, create a database if it doesn't exist, and create tables and indexes in the database if they don't exist. Sort of a "program as it's own DBA" kind of thing.
