Par2: Forcing right justified strings 1999-09-14 -- Chris Cordes I've been doing this for years by right justiying the string. You can place the code to
right justify it in the global embeds at the field level validation.
I use the following code in a function called forceright(string)
frlen = len(frs)
frspc = frlen - len(clip(frs))
frs = all(' ',frspc)&clip(frs)
return frs
Then at the field level validation embed for the alpha/numeric field I put
field = forceright(field)
Once it's in the global embed you never have to think about it again and the browses
work!
