Access using a Browser You can access our newsgroups by using any web browser. Please use the following link http://news.icetips.com to connect using your browser.

Access using a Newsreader You can connect to our news server by using any newsreader software, such as Microsoft Outlook Express. The server you need to connect to is: news.icetips.com You are required to log in and the newsgroups use the same username and password as the icetips website. Please refer to the email that you received from us when you signed up in order to find your user name.

Access using RSS Feed You can access our newsgroups via RSS as well as using browser and newsreader. You can use the following links in your RSS reader: http://news.icetips.com/rss/icetips.gold http://news.icetips.com/rss/icetips.silver http://news.icetips.com/rss/icetips.suggestions http://news.icetips.com/rss/icetips.test Use the links above in your RSS reader to connect to the Icetips newsgroup RSS feed. Make sure that you enter the username and password in order to connect. Please note that you will be prompted for username and password if you click on the links above.

Newsgroup Rules When posting on the Icetips newsgroups, please observe these simple rules: Religious and political discussions are NOT allowed. Personal attacks on other members or Icetips personnel are NOT allowed. Profanity and name calling are NOT allowed. Be considerate and professional at all times. All newsgroups are moderated. Anonymous messages are NOT allowed. Messages that do not follow those rules will be removed as soon as possible by moderators and the poster will be banned from posting on any of our newsgroups for one week. We reserve full right to prohibit posters from posting on our newsgroups if they violate these rules. On the third offense, the poster’s subscription may be permanently terminated. Please consider anything that is posted on these newsgroups as private and please do not share any contents with others. Please use your real name in the “from” field when setting up your newsreader. Please note that your user name is automatically included in all message headers so anonymous postings are not possible. Please try to stay on topic – start a new thread if you need to, rather than drift.
