Basic SocketWrench Demo Application Notes:

Provides a working demonstration of two separate apps communicating with one another via IP.

These apps use no templates, classes, or anything else that would hide code from you.

Installation:

1. Unzip the entire archive into a single directory of your choice.

2. Move or copy the CSWSK32.OCX file into your Windows System directory, usually C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM for Windows 95/98 or C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 for Windows NT.

3. Register the control by typing: REGSVR32 CSWSK32.OCX and pressing the ENTER key.

4. Open, compile, and run the apps.

Detailed documentation is provided in the file SWDEMO.DOC, a MS Word '98 document.

NOTE: If the Win95/98 Dialer pops up when you go to connect and you're just trying to connect to the "Listening" app on your own machine, just Close/Cancel the dialog box and the programs will run fine.

If you need the documentation in another form besides Word '97, please E-mail me.
