Operations Menu
---------------

There was some talk on the News groups about Queues of Controls and what they
maybe good for. I thought I would share this with everyone. Maybe someone out there
can use it.

This was a project I worked on for a company that
had around 1500 installed users. We also had to support a suit of
applications and utilities written specificly for these users to help
diagnose system and communications problems.

Some of the requirements that led to the development of this menu were

- Add new programs W/O Recompiling and Distributing the Whole Operations Menu.
- Allow users to view, edit both with password protection and with out various log
  files and configuration files.
- Add new log files and configuration files with out recompiling the menu
- Add new groups of related operations with out recompiling (Modifiable tabs)
- Run 16 bit so it would run on legacy win 3.1x machines. (32 bit was never implemented
although I had started to put some 32 bit code in place IOW this will not compile and run
  in 32 bit

All the information for the creation of the Tabs and Buttons is stored in the super
file named "OPMENU.TPS". New Items can be added simply by updating this file and distributing
it to the users.

There is no support for this product. There is no guarantee expressed or implied. Use or Don't
use strictly at your own risk. This is being distributed as an example of a
recent topic that was discussed on the Clarion News Groups not as commercial software.

However I do like to talk so if you have questions or comments I can be reached at.
